Peak District Family Photography (Laura, Duncan, Ethan and Jack)

I had a lovely time with Laura, Duncan and their brilliant boys Ethan and Jack. They might just have more Lego in their Hope Valley home than we do! Ethan showed me around their lovely garden and then we went for a stroll in the fields surrounding the house, with great views towards Win Hill. Laura is a keen photographer, so she really wanted some photos of the family with her actually in front of the camera and I think we got some lovely ones.

I'm so pleased with the photos! Its brilliant to have such lovely photos of me with my family, as its usually me pressing the shutter. Kate immediately befriended our 5 year old, (genius move) putting him at ease which meant that everyone else felt comfortable too. Being so friendly and warm, she was able to capture genuine moments, giving a very natural feel to the images. It never felt staged as she gently lead us to new scenarios, fitting in to what we usually do at home as a family, all the while keeping us chatting and engaged. We had a great time, as I think it shows! Cant wait to get these up on the wall.
